Based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Quantum Renewable Energy Inc. (Quantum) specializes in solar hot water, photovoltaic (PV, i.e., solar) and wind energy systems. We are not a retail operation, and deal directly with Canadian suppliers in order to offer our clients the most cost-effective energy solutions.

At Quantum we pride ourselves on our dedicated, enthusiastic personnel. We are a knowledge-based company staffed by PV and solar thermal specialists, and we use cutting-edge technology.

We offer turnkey solutions for renewable energy needs. We provide full project management and manage all aspects of a system implementation, including:

• systems design;
• installation;
• regulatory submissions; and
• long-term customer support.

Our mission is to supply our clients with turnkey access to alternative energy sources. By focusing on only certain aspects of the rapidly growing renewable energy industry, we provide our clients with maximum expertise and proficiency of service.

Rick Rooney

Rick has owned and operated Quantum Renewable Energy for over eight years. Rick specialized in Photovolataics and Solar Domestic Hot Water from the beginning, making him one of the most experienced and knowledgeable dealers of solar energy solutions in kingston.

Andrew Stevens

 A graduate of the St. Lawrence Energy Systems Engineering Technology program, Andrew has overseen the installation of more than 250 kW of ground and roof mount photovoltaics.  He’ll make sure your system is done right, the first time.

Eric Collins

Eric attended St. Lawrence for the Energy Systems Engineering Technology program, but he probably could have taught most of the courses. He’ll install your solar panels, your solar hot water panels, your battery back-up system, tune up your generator and fix your car while he’s at it.

Dan Todd

Our grizzled veteran of the construction trades, Dan fabricates our custom PV racking systems to fit your roof and your needs. There’s nothing he hasn’t seen, and nothing he can’t build.

Jared MacKay

Jared has a bachelors of environmental engineering, and takes pride in his ability to design and draft a PV or SDHW system for any roof layout no matter how complex.
