Site Evaluation
An accurate site analysis is necessary in order to determine what the solar potential is for a given location. Our site analysis service consists of a 30 to 45 minute site evaluation in which we collect data to use in a Retscreen analysis, which is a sophisticated software tool used to predict your potential costs and financial payback. We will then supply you with the Retscreen report as well as an accurate fixed system quote for an installed system (see sample Retscreen report: 68 Kb PDF). The charge for this service is $75 for photovoltaic systems, $50 for solar water heaters, and free for pools. Our service territory stretches from Belleville in the west to Brockville in the east; a travel charge of $25/50km applies for for properties more than 50km from downtown Kingston. Any applicable cost will be deducted from your system installation cost if you purchase a system from us.
